Following on from my previous article published in September 2023, the pond has been emptied, cleaned and refilled.

The pond was starting to get overgrown with the rushes and the pond weed was out of control. Also it was covered with the dreaded duckweed, in reality it looked a mess.
A New Bird Feeding Station
But for who?
One of the presents I got for my birthday this year was this bird feeder station.
It is pleasant to watch the birds choosing their favourite foods, but unfortunately the collared doves and magpies rule the roost.
Garden Pond - Surprise
As mentioned in my earlier post ' A Hard Decision To Make' I have given all my fish away but I am still keeping my pond with the hope that it will become a natural pond and attract all kinds of wildlife.

In this short update, I have added a railway buffer as a stool in the garden, made changes to the hood that covers the trough light and mister and included some photographs of the garden at night.
