Garden Railway - Night Time Filming - The New Camera Cradle

I tried using wagon with a small LED torch on either side of the camera, shown below. It worked well but I needed to make some kind of cradle that would keep the camera and torches secure and also to allow me to remove them to re-charge their batterie and to connect the camera to my PC to copy the videos.

Chris to the rescue, again. He has a 3D printer, and after about 20 minutes planning he had an idea for a cradle. Using 'Solid Works' he had designed and programmed it to be printed, his printer software is 'Creality Slicer'.  This process took him about 20 minutes.

Here are a few pictures that he took during the process.

The cradle upside down.

After about 13 hours of printing later, the cradle next to the flatbed wagon.

Showing under the wagon the four cradle attaching screws.

Cradle attached and almost ready to try out.

The finished product with individual strap fastenings to keep the camera and torches secure while filming but also for ease of removing them when needed.

Unfortunately this picture doesn't do the cradle justice but it gives you an idea of it in use. Thanks Chris.

I've posted picture this just because I like it.
