No Trains Today - or are there?

What a surprise when I got up this morning to see my garden covered with snow and the pond frozen solid with a covering of snow.

Thick snow on the tracks all services cancelled until further notice.

Imagine my surprise when I came down this morning to see the garden, track and pond blanketed snow.

This first photograph is take from inside while the snow was still falling.

A picturesque view across the bridge, but where is the track.

Close up from another angle.

 Across the garden.

The pond with thick ice and snow on top.

Close ups showing the ice and snow on the pond.

The waterfall trough also iced up with snow on top.

Snowy is a one off loco, the body was originally a Bachmann Porter Loco with modifications mounted on an LGB 20040 Snowplow with the rear plow removed. .

Getting on with the task of clearing the line of snow and ice.

 Making progress.

Job done and running again.  Not bad for a BSA loco (Bits stuck anywhere)

A couple of videos

Now back to playing trains.
