Is a layout ever finished? A question that most railway modellers will answer no to, and I can vouch for that.
Looking at my OO/Hoe layout it seemed as though there was nothing else that I needed to do, but there was a part of it that I wasn’t very happy with.
The Project, so of we go.
This first picture shows the part that I refer to, the conifers, I was not sure what I wanted but it wasn’t the conifers.
So, I took them up and cleared the base leaving just the station.
I cut part of the side wall of the station to make a gate with steps leading down into the cleared space and also added edging strips.
A permanent set of steps added with a gate on the station.
An idea is developing that needs fencing all around.
