Model Railways
Unwritten Rules.
Some unwritten rules: (tongue in cheek though not for the purists who will possibly cringe at them)
As far as I am concerned it's each to his own after all we should all be railway modellers in our own way and respect those that may not agree with us.
- It's my layout, I will run what I want. when I want, how I want, and if you don't like it ...tough
- If it looks right, then it is right.
- If you don't like it, don't look.
- I will ask for your opinion if I want it, but I don't.
- If all else fails, there is always a hammer.
- Always have a swear box to hand when working, it's surprising how quickly you can save up for that new loco.
- If it looks right from 10 feet away, then it is. ( For garden railway modellers)
- These rules risk justifying bad habits.
